Starting The Treasure Hunt Quest
To begin The Treasure Hunt quest, players must first reach Friendship Level 8 with Scrooge McDuck. Once this milestone is reached, speak with Scrooge in his store to trigger the initial dialogue about a missing treasure map. He will hand over a mysterious piece of paper that serves as the starting clue for your adventure.
After examining the map in your inventory, you will notice three key locations marked across the Valley. These visual hints indicate where the missing map pieces and clues are buried, requiring players to equip their Royal Shovel to uncover them.
Finding the Hidden Map Clues
The first clue leads players toward the Glade of Trust near the large willow tree. Dig up the sparkling ground spot near the water to extract the first missing fragment of the treasure map. Make sure to carefully check around the edges of the river bank if the exact spot is difficult to see.
Next, travel to Merlin's House located in the Peaceful Meadow to find the second clue buried nearby. The final clue requires a visit to the top of Dazzle Beach near the Mystical Cave entrance. Once all three map fragments are collected, return them to Scrooge McDuck so he can reassemble the complete map.
Unlocking the Final Treasure Chest
With the restored map in hand, Scrooge McDuck deciphers the final location of the buried chest inside the Forest of Valor. Head directly to the rocky area near the waterfall on the eastern edge of the forest. Use your Royal Shovel on the glowing digging spot to extract the ancient treasure chest.
Bring the locked chest back to Scrooge to complete the quest objectives. He will open the chest, share the valuable rewards with you, and grant a significant boost to your Friendship Level, officially concluding the quest line.
